As we end our March theme of "Spring Cleaning," we discuss the catalyst that prompts us to clean up an area of our life for real this time.What will it take for you to clean up those negative or unfruitful thoughts? Jesus told us to "shake the dust off" our feet when we are not received. We don't have to try to convince folks to listen to us, to like us, or to love us! If Jesus didn't do it, why do feel we need to? We don't! Done and dusted!

Ep 19 - Power Drain & Power to Cancel Debts

In this short but powerful Bible study, we talk about the "sinful" woman who poured perfume from her alabaster box onto Jesus' feet. He forgave her sins. (Luke 7:36-50)

We also mentioned the power drain that occurred when the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus' garment. (Matthew 9:20-22, Mark 5:25-34, Luke 8:43-48)

Ep 18 - Miracles in the Bible and in the Modern Day World

The meaning of MIRACLE is an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs. These things still happen today. We use science to explain the miraculous. We read about an axhead floating in 2 Kings 6:3-7, now explained as "maybe it was a myth and didn't really happen." We read about disobedient people being swallowed up by the ground (Numbers 16:3-35), which would be considered an earthquake in modern times. The parting of the Red Sea (Exodus 14:10-28) would be considered a tsunami. The sun stood still in Joshua 10:12-14, which scientists now say was a total solar eclipse. There are many other modern day miracles. We discuss several of them in this study.

Ep 17 - Miracles and the Supernatural

Have you ever experienced the supernatural?In this study we read about the miraculous events surrounding Elisha. First, an axhead floats in 2 Kings 6:1-7.Then a favorite scripture - when God opens the eyes of Elisha's servant, and he sees that "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." (2 Kings 6:17)The original Jedi mind trick happens in verse 19.
