We conclude the story of Esther - as we observe how similar to modern day these Biblical events are.

We continue the story of Esther with chapters 3 and 4, and part of chapter 5.  The evil Haman comes up with a scheme to kill Mordechai by eliminating the entire Jewish race. The book of Esther is so similar to what is happening in 2025 and during so many other horrible times in our history.

We begin our study of the book of Esther with chapters 1 and 2. The good people in this book were as smart and strategic as the bad guys - even more so!

We are studying Masterminds in the Bible. We know what it means to be innocent, but what does it mean to be shrewd?
Shrewd is defined as "having or showing sharp powers of judgment; astute."
God's word commands us to be "shrewd as snakes and innocent as doves." (Matthew 10:16)
Often, we stop at innocent and just try to keep our head down. But that's not what God tells us to do in 1 Peter 5:8. He says "Be sober, be vigilant."
